Fumbled Battle Tactics

Apparently in some guide to playing TF2 there is a tactic recommended for Heavy-Medic pairs under attack by Pyros where you find a man/giant man sized gap or hole and get the Medic to stand in it while Heavy blocks the opening. The Medic, protected, then heals the Heavy while he's under attack.

"Doktor! Over here!"
Heavy wraps a thick arm around the Medic's shoulders and pulls him out of the firing line, sandwiching him against the wall. He uses his massive body as a shield to keep him from harm.
"H-Herr Heavy, no! I-I-!"
The Medic gasps and shields his face as a blast of hot air comes at him, his protests stifled. He knows what his partner is trying to do, it was a manoeuvre the Soldier had taught them yesterday. He knows what he's supposed to be doing, keeping his mountainous partner healthy while he protects him, but he can't. The smell of burning flesh and fabric clogs up his lungs as he tries to speak.
"H-Herr Heavy... I-I... I dropped th-the Medigun!"
